- Origin of Name: Named after Frank Riblett, local teacher and early surveyor of what became the Minidoka Reclamation Project and Milner Dam; his surveys were used to select the locations for future projects on the Snake River served in the Spanish American War and as US Congressman
Not much has been verified about the area between Bridge and Almo, but it is currently believed that the road from current location of Bridge traveled on the south side of Raft River, over the shale road, then crossing Raft River on EY road on property currently owned by Rod Jones, before heading west and along the west side of Jim Sage, joining the California Trail as it went over the ridge, headed for Albion; it has been reported that passengers on the stage from Kelton would walk over the narrow bridge, since the bridge was so narrow that staying in the coach was perceived as too dangerous; mail was delivered to Riblett, according to a list of Post Offices from the early days, and it was believed likely that the Riblett location was not actually an office, but rather, more of a stop, probably inside a private residence, where postal employees would pick up and deliver mail to the area - Location: Several miles east of Almo, the first settlement towards the area known as “The Narrows,” and west of the site of the stage station in Erncliff
- No population estimates on this unicorporated rural community
