  • Settled: Built first as a company town by Utah Power and Light Company in 1914
  • Origin of Name:  Named for the station below Oneida Dam
  • Historical Overview: A private road leads north from the Oneida Narrois to the shady, grassy community; the 12-mile canyon road north is an enjoyable ridek with many fun-seekers, floating the river in inner tubes; Maple Grove Hot Springs Resort is a little over 3 miles upstream from Oneida Damin 1920 a 23-mile power line was built from the Oneida plant to Montpelier; UP&L built a one-room schoolhouse there
  • Location: 11.9 miles (15 minutes) north of Preston on Hwy 36
