- Laid Out: 1909-1913
- Notable Features: Lovett was laid out along the railroad east of Malta anticipating that the town of Malta would have to be moved, since it was planned to be under the reservoir of a proposed dam, planned to be built on the Raft River; the reservoir was planned to cover Malta townsite in its waters; newspaper articles advertised for settlers to “come to the Raft River Valley, sure to grow and flourish;” this proposed dam would supposedly rival the Minidoka Irrigation Project; alas, the dam was never constructed, held up in a long-term dispute between the railroad and irrigation company and with the project cancelled and no reservoir forth-coming, Malta was undisturbed, so the anticipated move to Lovett was never made
- Location: East of Malta, towards I-84E
