- Origin of Name: Named in honor of Ezra T. Benson a Presiding Elder in the Mormon church
- Notable Features: Located on the banks of Bear River, the area is well known for its aquatic recreation, including fishing, boating and hunting of wild fowl; also has a marina; Darry’s Appliance established a tongue-in-cheek reputation of being in “beautiful down-town Benson,” as far as the general public knew, the store consisted of “downtown Benson” in its entirety
