  • Origin of Name: Named before 1858, after Charles Alexander, said to be an early settler in the area
  • Summary: a beautiful area for boating, fishing, swimming and a picnic; home to rainbow trout, perch, channel catfish, blue gill, and smallmouth bass, Alexander has a good selection of fish; 4.5 miles long and 1 mile wide, with two boat access ramps with docks just off Hwy 30 and two day-use areas located on the north side of the reservoir, it’s a great place to get out in a boat 
  • Location:  Adjacent to the town of Alexander: 5.9 miles (7 minutes) west of Soda Springs on Hwy 30 W
