- Original Name: Flaxville (for the flax raised there) and Little Copenhagen (for its Danish settlers;) at one time also known as Geneva, after the Swiss city
- Known for: From the beginning, Mantua has been regarded as a suburb of Brigham City; boasting Mantua Reservoir, a popular recreation area & Box Elder Campground
- Notable Features: Known for producing large crops of wheat, oats, alfalfa, potatoes, and fruit, especially strawberries and flax
- Location: 4.3 miles (7 minutes) east of Brigham City, up Sardine Canyon, towards Logan on Hwy 89/91
