  • Original Name:  Garner, source of name  unknown
  • Origin of Name: Named for the cliffs in the area by John Saul
  • Historical Overview: Rail station between Logan and Pocatello, post office, home of West Side High School
  • Location:  12.4 miles (15 minutes) west of Preston, Idaho on Hwy 386 W, then north on County Road D-1 
  • Population:  532 in 2024, up from 510 at 2020 census
